Winter Holiday Activities-2013

Christmas & holiday season is the most wonderful time of the year.
It’s winter, cold weather but pleasant and with festive mood everywhere.

Christmas is traditionally celebrated as Jesus Christ’s birthday.  Mainly Christians celebrate Christmas but now a days with globalization, like other festivals,
many people actively participate in this festival too. People decorate their homes with
Christmas trees, lights, other decorations etc. Many places people illustrates the scenes
from Jesus’ birth and other stories. People give and receive gifts and prepare many festive
delicacies during this time. Many churches hold special Christmas services. Carol singing
is an important part of this festival which keeps the Christmas cheer alive.

The most loved and popular “Santa Claus” who, people believe, lives at the North Pole
comes on a reindeer sleigh especially for Christmas. Kids also believe that Santa Claus
delivers presents to everyone on Christmas Eve and brings happiness in everyone’s life.
Kids look forward to Christmas with their long wish list ready & with a hope that
Santa Claus will fulfil their wish list.

In our class, we too celebrated holiday season with some fun activities.
Kids enthusiastically participated in the drawing competition and later they
all did cookie decoration. It was a funfilled and a delicious event 🙂
Although we really missed few kids who couldn’t attend this activity.

“Wishing you Peace, Love and Joy this Holiday Season
Wishing you a New Year filled with Success, Good health and Prosperity!!!”
