SanskarVarg students celebrated Krishna Janmashtami and Ganesha Chaturthi in the month of September.
They all made Krishna’s favourite “Gopalkala” on that day. Every student got one one ingredient and they all together made “Gopalkala” as an activity. Gopalkala is made as an offering /prasad for Lord Krishna. As we all know Krishna would graze cattle with his cowherd friends, Gopals. At lunch time Krishna would mix all the food brought by his friends with his own, and would make a Kala, that’s why it is called Gopalkala. This Gopalkala teaches us, to treat/respect everyone equally irrespective of their status.
Students also participated enthusiastically in Ganesha making activity using moulding clay. We missed those who couldn’t attend this activity but we all had a wonderful time together.
